Choose a photo, and Nova Forms saves a JPG under 50 KB. It lowers the JPEG quality first, and only makes the picture smaller when it has to, so it stays as sharp as it can. Your photo is never uploaded.
Pick a photo from your phone or computer, or take one with your phone camera.
The limit is already set to under 50 KB. If your form needs exact pixels, pick a size, or choose Other size and type it in.
Tap Make my photo. The size in KB is worked out for you in a moment.
Look at the picture and the size, then tap Save file. Upload that file on your form.
The file is made to fit under 50 KB. If that is not possible at your size, you are told, and shown the smallest it can be.
It lowers the JPEG quality first, but not below a level that still looks good. Only when that is not enough does it make the picture smaller, and by as little as it can.
If your form also wants at least some KB, type it under At least. A little invisible padding brings a small file up to it.
Pick 200 × 230, 3.5 × 4.5 cm, 2 × 2 inch, or type your own size in pixels, centimetres or inches.
The photo is opened, resized and saved in your browser, on your device. It is not sent to a server.
Your picture is clean, and you do not need to sign in.
