SBI photo and signature size, made for you

The SBI form for PO and Clerk asks for four pictures, each with its own size in pixels and KB. Choose your picture, and Nova Forms saves it at the size in the table. It is made on your device, so nothing is uploaded.

SBI sizes

These are the sizes in the notices we know of for SBI (PO and Clerk). Exams change them from time to time, so always read the size on your own notice. If it is different, open the tool and choose Other size.

Newer SBI forms also ask you to take a live photo with your webcam or phone camera while you apply. That photo is taken on the SBI page, so there is nothing to make for it here.

Photograph 200 × 230 pixels 20–50 KB Make it →

Left thumb impression 240 × 240 pixels 20–50 KB Make it →
Handwritten declaration 800 × 400 pixels 50–100 KB Make it →

We read these sizes in the SBI Probationary Officers advertisement of 2026 and the SBI Junior Associates backlog advertisement of 2026.

How to make your SBI pictures

  1. Choose a row

Tap Make it on the picture you need in the table. Nova Forms opens already set to that size and KB.

  2. Choose your picture

Pick a photo from your phone or computer, or take one with your phone camera. For a photo, move and zoom it until your face is in the frame.

  3. Make it

Tap the button at the bottom. The file is made at the size in the table, and you see the size in KB.

  4. Save and upload

Tap Save file, then upload that file on your form. Do the next picture the same way.

Why use this tool

The size is set for you

Each button opens the tool with the pixels and the KB limit already filled in. You can still change them.

Inside the KB range

The picture is made at the size in the table, and the file is kept between the smallest and the largest KB. A little invisible padding brings a small file up to the smallest.

A clean signature

A photo of your signature on paper becomes dark writing on a clean white background, cut to fit.

Made for phones

Big buttons, a camera button on phones, and a frame you move and zoom with your fingers.

Private

Everything happens in your browser, on your device. Your photo is not sent to a server.

Free

No watermark, no account, no limit on how many you make.

Tips for SBI

Questions

What size is the SBI photo?
The SBI PO and Clerk advertisements we checked ask for a recent passport-style colour photo of 200 × 230 pixels (preferred), as a JPG of 20 to 50 KB. Check your own advertisement, because it can change.
What size is the SBI signature?
A signature of 140 × 60 pixels (preferred), as a JPG of 10 to 20 KB, in the advertisements we checked.
What about the left thumb impression and the handwritten declaration?
The thumb impression is 240 × 240 pixels at 200 dpi (20 to 50 KB) and the handwritten declaration is 800 × 400 pixels at 200 dpi (50 to 100 KB), both as JPG files, in the advertisements we checked. Both have a button in the table above.
Are the SBI and IBPS sizes the same?
In the notices we checked, yes: both ask for the same four pictures at the same sizes. Each bank can change its own, so read your own notice.
Do I need a live photo on the SBI form too?
Newer SBI forms ask you to capture a live photo with your webcam or phone camera while you register. That is done on the SBI page. You do not make it here.
Why does my file have an extra note about padding?
Some sizes have a smallest file size too, such as 20 KB. When a clean picture comes out smaller than that, a little invisible padding is added so the form accepts it. The picture itself is the same.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The photo is opened, resized and saved in your browser, on your own device.
